Stephen Curry, a loving and attentive father, wants time to slow down.
On Wednesday, the Golden State Warriors player, who is 34 years old, commemorated the coming of age moment by congratulating his daughter Riley on the occasion of her tenth birthday.
“July 19, 2012. Watching you develop over the past ten years has been the highlight of my life. Now, please refrain from maturing quite so quickly….We care about you,” Stephen wrote this while posting a photo of Riley smiling while she wore a crown that said “birthday princess” and had her hands outstretched. “Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy up, she feels blessed!”
Riley’s birthday was celebrated by the family visiting an arcade with her husband and their older daughter, as shown in a video that proud mother Ayesha Curry posted on her Instagram Story. Riley’s birthday was celebrated with the posting of the video. In addition, Stephen and Ayesha are parents to a daughter. Ryan, age seven, and his kid Canon, age three.
The author of The Full Plate cookbook posted a selfie with Riley while they were at the arcade along with the caption “Double digit behavior” and a video of herself shooting hoops with her NBA star spouse.

In 2015, when Riley was just 212 years old, she became famous after accompanying her father to a press conference following the Warriors’ victory over the Houston rockets in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals. riley squirmed her way under the table and into her father’s lap before interrupting her father as he was speaking with the reporters. “You’re too loud, Daddy!” she exclaimed.
There has been a lot of rejoicing going on in the Curry household recently due to the fact that Riley’s younger sister also recently celebrated her birthday. ryan’s seventh birthday was on July 11, and Stephen paid him a similar homage by posting a picture of themselves with the birthday girl making a peace sign while sitting on a golf cart together. ryan became seven years old that day.
“A very special happy birthday and lucky number seven to my ryan!!!” He added a caption to the photo. “Love everything there is to love about this one-of-a-kind girl and shine bright like a star, my baby.”
Ayesha also welcomed the new year by posting a series of photos on her own Instagram feed, which you can view here. The adorable carousel displayed Ryan posing while wearing an all-white ensemble and a beret that matched, and later showing him attending a tea party at a restaurant.

Stephen and Ayesha first became acquainted with one another while they were both attending high school in North Carolina. They got married on July 30, 2011, and will soon be celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary.
After being together for such a long period of time, the pair discussed, in a February interview with Zuri Hall of Access Hollywood, how they manage to keep things interesting and exciting despite the passage of time. Ayesha believed, at the time, that it was essential to leave room in one’s schedule for romantic pursuits.
“For us, it’s simply making sure we don’t forget to go on dates with each other, finding the time to get dressed up and go out and do everything we want to do. “That’s what keeps it spicy,” was what she had to say about it.
