Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Comments on Damian Lillard’s Personality

In a recent interview, Giannis was asked to share his thoughts on what Lillard is like off the basketball court. According to Antetokounmpo, Dаme is a very reserved individual who barely talks to his teammates:

“He’s so quiet, doesn’t sаy much,” Giannis said, via Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.

“He’s like a little version of me, a guard version. Quiet, goes about his business, takes care of his family, shows up and practices really hard. When he needs to be vocal, he’s vocal.”

But Antetokounmpo isn’t grumbling. Lillard is not known for being the loudest or friendliest person around, but the seven-time All-Star prefers to let his abilities on the court speak for itself. That is ultimately what is most important.

That final part of Giannis’ comments should also be noted. While Dаme may be a more reserved person, Lillard, according to Antetokounmpo, is still aware of his responsibility to speak up. The 33-year-old was the Portland Trail Blazers’ talisman for 11 years, and now that he has joined Milwaukee, he plans to provide that same leadership to the squad.
