For all of his life, Jayson Tatum has dreamed of playing in the NBA Finals. He wore clothes that were fitting for the event.
The 24-year-old Celtics player showed up to Chase Center in San Francisco on Thursday night wearing a stylish jacket with leopard print cuffs, a pink shoulder, and a right lapel that stood out.
Some people were so brave in that outfit that GQ Sports took notice.
Tatum talked about how “surreal” it was for him to be in the Finals the day before Game 1.
Tatum said, “I just kind of think back to when I was a kid and watched the Finals every year.” “As a kid, everyone wants to play in the NBA and make it to the Finals. But it’s pretty crazy to actually live out your dream.” Do you ever feel like you need to pinch yourself? I know I’m in the Finals when I walk in and see this background. I’m just trying to enjoy the moment and take it all in.”
