Jayson Tatum has always wanted to make it to the NBA Finals. He dressed appropriately for the occasion.

The 24-year-old Celtics star wore a fashionable jacket to Thursday night’s game at Chase Center in San Francisco, complete with leopard print cuffs, a pink shoulder, and an eye-catching right lapel.

GQ Sports took notice of those who were courageous enough to wear the outfit.

The day before Game 1 of the Finals, Tatum remarked on how “surreal” it felt to be there.

To paraphrase Tatum, “I just kind of think back to when I was a kid and watched the Finals every year.” Everyone has dreams as a kid of one day making it to the NBA Finals. But it’s quite wild to have your dreams come true. Do you ever want to give yourself a little pinch? Whenever I enter a venue with this specific decor, I know I’ve arrived at the Finals. I’m just trying to take it all in and have fun right now.
