Although James LeBron is regarded as one of the NBA’s legends and one of the best players, he has shown his colleague, eight-time NBA All-Star Anthony Davis, the same deference and appreciation.
LeBron recently discussed Davis with the media before the opening night game. In response to a question, he talked extensively about Davis and described him as one of the greatest players in team history.
LeBron reportedly remarked, “[Anthony Davis] is awesome, man. AD is fantastic. I’ve been here for six years, and AD for five, so we’ve been here for the longest. He leads this ball club just as much as I do, and we are both co-captains. He has to look after a lot of the forwards and big men, and I look after a lot of the guards, and vice versa. Because that’s how we lead—we turn off.” ADs are all and more this franchise could ask for. He is without a doubt one of the best big men to play for this team.”
LeBron has already lauded his brilliant teammate, and right now, one of the biggest stars on the Los Angeles Lakers roster is Anthony Davis. LeBron, the legend, may quickly determine that he is a powerhouse in and of himself for the squad. After James leaves the NBA, Davis will lead the Los Angeles Lakers going forward, and as the last remaining power player after the legend, he will have some influence over the team’s success and progress.
Davis’s career is still going strong, and his numbers from the previous campaign were very good. Last season, he participated in 56 games and averaged 25.9 points per contest. In addition, he is among the league’s best interior defenders. Regarding Anthony Davis, one of the most important things to consider will be his health. Owing to a protracted medical history spanning multiple years, his availability has fluctuated throughout his career. With a healthy Davis at their side, the Los Angeles Lakers may potentially do much more if fortune is on their side.
