The Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker and Bradley Beal had limited practice on Sunday.
On October 24, the Phoenix Suns will face the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California, for their first regular season game.
Bradley Beal and Devin Booker both participated in practice on Sunday, but to a limited extent.
According to Kellan Olson of EmpireOfTheSuns: “Today in practice, Frank Vogel limited both Bradley Beal (back tightness) and Devin Booker (sore toe). said they ought to be alright. wouldn’t go over Booker’s toe in detail.”
Booker is coming off yet another incredible season in which he shot 35.1% from three-point range and 49.4% from the field to average 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.0 steals a game.
He came out of Kentucky as the 13th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft and has played his whole eight-year career for Phoenix.
Beal, meanwhile, is coming off a season in which he shot 36.5% from three-point range and 50.6% from the field to average 23.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game.
He was traded to the Suns over the offseason after playing with the Washington Wizards for his first 11 seasons.
Before the Suns returned to the NBA in 2021, they had been out of the postseason for ten years (they reached the Finals).
The Suns have qualified for the postseason in the last three seasons, and they are coming off a season in which they were the fourth seed in the Western Conference.
They were defeated by the Denver Nuggets in the second round after defeating the Los Angeles Clippers in the first.
