Prior to the shootout defeat, Antetokounmpo told Apple TV, “It’s been an amazing experience.”
I haven’t had as much time to appreciate it because of the season and my hectic schedule with my kids, my workout regimen, and my quest for improvement, but I was only able to attend this game with my younger brother because it was the only one I could find time for.
“I’m happy to be here and to be at a game this important,” he said again. One of the greatest players to ever play this game, Lionel Messi, is playing against us. This will likely be the first time in my life that I support the opposition. So, Nashville, this one is going to be won.
