J Balvin and Miami Heat’s All-Star Jimmy Butler Team Up for a Pickup Game in the Big Apple

Recently, J Balvin of Colombia and Miami Heat star player Jimmy Butler III took their bromance to the streets.

They played a pickup game of basketball on Tuesday and posted some highlights to their Instagram Story. After the post went up, followers noted that the reggaeton star was sporting a pair of Air Jordan 3s in a never-before-seen colorway.

Balvin and Butler took a break from sprinting up and down the court and shooting hoops by sitting on the bench and taking photographs with the other players, which they then uploaded on Instagram.

In a video posted to Balvin’s Instagram Story, the two pals can be seen laughing and pointing at the team they had just beaten, who can be seen wiggling their fingers at the victorious pair.

They mockingly pointed at their rivals and smiled, shouting in Spanish, “Ganamos!” (We won).

“Nosotros dos!” Balvin, 38, said in the tape, “Both of us!”, which signifies “won against 5” opponents, while Butler mocked their defeat by saying, “Poopoo face!”

Balvin’s tribute to Butler by wearing a number 22 Miami Heat jersey can be explained by their close connection.

It would indicate that Balvin places a high value on his relationships with his celebrity buddies. The singer has been very candid about his ties with fellow musicians Luis Fonsi of Puerto Rico and Ed Sheeran of the United Kingdom.
