LeBron James had a great time when he went to Houston on Tuesday to watch his son Bronny play in the McDonald’s All-American Game.

The NBA star, who is 38 years old and played in the prestigious game himself in 2003, brought out his whole family for Bronny’s big start when he was 18.

He went to Toyota Center with his wife Savannah James, son Bryce James, daughter Zhuri James, and mother Gloria James to watch the game.Bronny, who played for the Boys’ West team, dominated the game by scoring 15 points, including five three-pointers. The Los Angeles Lakers star got excited every time his son scored. He stood up and cheered the whole game from courtside.

His play on Tuesday was a bright sign of the NBA royalty’s future in the league, even though his team didn’t win.On Monday, Bronny got ready for the Powerade JamFest Slam Dunk Contest, which was held exactly 20 years after his dad won the competition in 2003. Bronson came in second, behind Sean Stewart, who will play basketball at Duke.

This is another great dunk that the Sierra Canyon star did to warm up before Tuesday’s game. In a news release, Elizabeth Campbell, Senior Director of Cultural Engagement for McDonald’s, said, “The McDonald’s All American Games are more than just one night of basketball.” “It’s a chance for elite players to show out on the national stage and create their own legacy.”The basketball showcase began in 1977 with the top 24 boys’ and 24 girls’ high school players from across the U.S. being picked based on how well they did in school and on the court. In 2003, James played in the annual game and helped lead his team to win. In 2012, the brand honored James as one of its 35th-anniversary greatest players.

LeBron congratulated his son Bronny and the other players chosen for the game on social media when they were chosen in January.
