Anthony Davis, a great player for the Los Angeles Lakers, seems to have put on weight over the summer, which has raised NBA fans’ hopes for him sky-high.
This week, the Lakers posted pictures of the eight-time NBA All-Star working out on social media.Davis could be seen doing pull-ups and pulling weights in the pictures.
In a big change from last season, the former No. 1 pick let his hair grow out and didn’t tie it.
More people saw how he changed his body on social media, though.
Davis’s shoulders and arms looked rounder and more defined, which made him look bigger, according to many NBA fans. One wrote, “AD done bulked.”
“Bro is looking big,” said someone else on Twitter.
“AD has been working hard this summer,” said a third.
One wrote, “Getting swole.” It looks good to me. “Raise that weight for a few years.”Be able to cope with more touch. Alpha is on the way!”
The 2022–23 season said Davis was a big man who was 6 feet 10 inches tall and weighed 253 pounds.
Lakers fans will be hoping that the extra weight will keep their star player from getting hurt.
Last season, he was in great shape, scoring 25.9 points, 12.5 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game.
But Davis didn’t play in more than 60 games again during the regular season because he had back and foot problems.
The Illinois native hasn’t been named an All-Star or All-NBA player since 2021. This is mostly because he hasn’t been able to stay healthy since the Lakers won the title in 2020.
