The KD 14 is Kevin Durant’s 14th trademark sneaker, and the first KD model to have a mid-foot strap since the KD 7. It retains the full-length Zoom Air strobel debuted by the KD trademark line in the KD 12, but its sleeker aesthetic is reminiscent of the KD 1 and KD 2. The aforementioned strap combines features from the Nike Bruin’s past with its present, most notably the enlarged Swoosh logo on the heel, while the medial side’s vented structure takes direct cues from the Air Presto.
All the debut iterations of the Nike KD 14 include a subtle overlay design, likely alluding to Kevin Durant’s off-court pursuits in the fields of technology and developing media.
