Bay Area sports fans were saved by Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Sunday after the San Francisco 49ers lost their third straight game to the Cincinnati Bengals.
On Sunday night, Curry led all scorers with 24 points to help the Warriors beat the Houston Rockets 106-95. He also added 7 boards and 6 assists.
The two-time MVP went crazy in the fourth quarter, hitting four straight 3-pointers when the game was tight. The Warriors’ sharpshooter had a moment to remember during his trademark “Curry flurry,” which will be replayed all week long on sports broadcasts across the world.
Curry’s old adversary Dillon Brooks tried to defend him, but No. 30 made him pay with a spectacular shot. With a smooth crossover, Curry escaped from Brooks’ grasp. Brooks tried to get back in the game by attempting a block, but Curry was able to simply pump fake his way to an open three-point shot.
Curry’s response after cooking Brooks on offense was very passionate as he jogged back to his own end of the court.
