Recent leaks of early pictures of the next shoe have caused a stir between Booker fans and sneakerheads alike. Many have drawn parallels between the cited sneaker and the Air Force 1, prompting one person to remark,

Sneakerheads and other online commenters shared their reactions to the new signature shoe shortly after the first photographs surfaced online. After comparing Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 design to the iconic Air Force 1, fans were left disappointed. Their mocking names ranged from “Vegan AF1s” to “Air Fake 1.”

Many have compared it to the popular Air Force 1 model, but at a far lower price. The shoes have been likened by some as a hybrid of the Nike LeBron 20 and the AF1. Some have hypothesized that it is a child-sized replica of the AF1 drone.
