Everyone is aware that now that Victor Wembanyama is playing for the San Antonio Spurs, he has the potential to become one of the all-time greats in the National Basketball Association, even though it may take a little bit of time for him to get there.

The most recent edition of ‘Undisputed’ featured Rachel Nichols in which she debated this same topic. She made the assertion that Wembanyama actually possesses a ceiling that is significantly greater than that of the players who are generally acknowledged to be the best that ever lived.

“We’ve been arguing about Michael Jordan against LeBron James for what feels like a decade now. She added that the absolute limit of Victor Wembanyama’s abilities was that he could make that entirely silent.

Because the potential of this guy is so tremendous, after the game we discussed all of the records that he had either set or tied. And then there are players like David Robinson, who was undefeated in his first five games. Shaquille O’Neal and LeBron James are two examples. I’m not saying that Victor Wembanyama is going to definitely get there, but his ceiling is higher than the ceiling of each and every one of those three people.

Shaquille O’Neal has weighed in on this discussion by uploading an image on his Instagram story of Nichols’ comments. It appears that O’Neal is in agreement with Nichols’ statements.

Because he did not actually contribute any of his own ideas, many people are interpreting what he said to suggest that he is in agreement with Nichols over her evaluation of Wembanyama’s abilities.

O’Neal has recently been in the news because he created waves by comparing Wemba to a player on the Phoenix Suns team named Bol Bol.

On TNT, he made the following statement: “”Bol Bol is the first 7-foot-4 man that we’ve seen come out with the handles, shoot the three’s, yes.” You all are acting as if you have never seen a guy like that before, which is not true. The first guy is Bol Bol. “
