There are a number of exceptional and intriguing scorers all across the NBA. Kendrick Perkins, on the other hand, thinks Kevin Durant is the league’s finest offensive player.
When asked to choose the league’s top five offensive players, he ranked Durant first. Jayson Tatum, Nikola Jokic, Joel Embiid, and Stephen Curry all followed behind him.
Durant is without a doubt one of the most gifted offensive players in the NBA. Because of his height, length, and shooting range, he poses a significant threat to opposing teams. For the Phoenix Suns, Durant has gotten off to a sizzling start this season.
The talented scorer is averaging 29.9 points per game on 52.1% shooting from the field and 34.6% from deep. Against the Detroit Pistons, he just scored 41 points. In his last four games against the Pistons, Durant has scored 40 or more points in each.
The fact that Perkins gave flowers to Durant in the midst of their ongoing feud was the biggest shock. They shared time on the court as Oklahoma City Thunder teammates, but their friendship hasn’t improved much since then.
All across the league, you can find incredible scorers. Perkins’s list of five is composed entirely of A-list scorers. However, picking out the best of the bunch is next to impossible. Although Perkins and Durant may have philosophical differences, nobody can dispute the latter’s talent.
The Suns will be a team hoping to stay in contention talks through the whole of this season. Durant is not his team’s sole star scorer, but he is among the best in the NBA.
