LeBron James is having a great start to the NBA season!
When the 38-year-old L.A. Laker showed up to their first game of the season against the Denver Nuggets in Denver, Colorado, dressed head to toe in Louis Vuitton, it was clear why people call him “King James.”
TMZ says the NBA star was seen coming into the arena wearing a custom Damoflage tweed collarless jacket worth about $5,000, black pants worth $1.2k, and black derby shoes worth about $1.25k. He looked cool and focused the whole time.
He finished off the look with black shades and black Beats headphones while listening to music. He also wore a green leather Speedy bag that cost $11,000, making the whole outfit worth close to $28,000.
The tweed jacket and some of the other clothes he wore were from Pharrell Williams’s Spring-Summer 2024 line for men. After Virgil Abloh’s death in 2021, the musician was named as the new creative head of the high-end brand.
Williams started his job with the Men’s Fashion Week in Paris in June. In the early 2000s, he worked on a line of jewelry and sunglasses with Marc Jacobs, who used to be the creative head of Louis Vuitton.
James, on the other hand, is about to start his 21st season in the NBA. At first, he lied to the crowd at the 2023 ESPY Awards when he said he would be back for another season.”At the end of the season, I said I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep playing,” James said after becoming the NBA’s all-time top scorer. “I know that a lot of experts told you what I said, but I’m here to speak for myself,” I asked myself over and over again if I could still play without cheating.
He said, “The day I can’t give the game everything I have on the floor is the day I’ll be done.” After a long pause, he added, “Lucky for you guys, that day is not today.”

He said that seeing his kids play basketball with their coaches, LeBron “Bronny” James Jr. (19 years old) and Bryce James (16 years old), was what “brings me back every year.”
He said, “Seeing those kids makes me think of where I play.” Those kids help me get back on track… I do have something left, though. Still a lot.”
