Stephen Curry has had a summer to remember. The 2022 NBA season began with Curry leading the Golden State Warriors to another championship and earning Finals MVP honors. Soon after, Curry and his family joined other NBA stars like Alex Caruso to Lake Tahoe for a private celebrity golf event. 

Steph nevertheless managed to do a public victory lap as host of the 2022 ESPY trophies, where he not only hosted but also won two trophies, after all this. Steph made fun of LeBron James and the Boston Celtics openly at the event. This summer, he has been invincible, and his efforts have paid off monetarily and otherwise.

Curry, one of the highest-paid players in the NBA, just dropped $2.1 million on a vacation property in Orlando, Florida, not far from Amway Center, where his team, the Orlando Magic, plays. 

Curry already owns a $31 million mansion in Silicon Valley town, Atherton. The city of Atherton, California, is a suburb of San Francisco. The Golden State Warriors are the hometown team of San Francisco, and Stephen Curry has said he plans to remain there long after his playing days are over.  

It could be inspired by the abundance of golf courses in Florida. When you’re a multi-millionaire like Steph, it makes sense to have a vacation property on the other side of the country, and it appears that this is the case for the Curry family.
