Critics were very complimentary of Cleveland Cavaliers player LeBron James’ acting and comedic abilities in the summer comedy Trainwreck. Perhaps he’s considering taking on further cinematic roles: Last week, it was reported by Variety that James had purchased a property in Brentwood, a posh area of Los Angeles.
In 2011, real estate mogul Ken Ungar and his family commissioned “mansion specialist” Ken Ungar to construct their custom home of 9,350 square feet. The home wasn’t on the market, but Curbed was able to obtain images of it from a few years ago, and all you have to do to see the 6’8″ James in them is close your eyes.
Although one may assume that a basketball player’s home would have to have “abnormally high ceilings,” the previous owners stated in an interview in 2013 that this was not the case. The master suite, the most luxurious of the house’s six bedrooms, features a two-sided fireplace, a marble bathtub, and a private patio.
There is a pool, a cabana, and a terrace on the premises. Photos also showcase the house’s two sizable patios that lead out to the “compact” grassy yard. James reportedly spent $20.99 million on the property.
