Because of the Minnesota Timberwolves, who had the best offensive unit in the NBA, the Warriors’ offense was almost unwatchable. Steph Curry was the only consistent scorer for the Warriors, as they were outscored 116-110 by the Timberwolves on Sunday.
The Warriors have lost three straight and four in a row. Their home record is 1-3, and their total record is 6-5.
The Warriors shot just 38.5% from the field and 27.9% from 3-point range, but they were still ahead because to Curry’s 38 points. Minnesota, who shared a similar physical makeup with the Cleveland Cavaliers, forced the Warriors into a half-court offensive style by slowing down the game’s pace. In the paint, Minnesota defeated Golden State 62–38, largely because of Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns’ strong defense.
Thompson Klay
Klay Thompson scored 16 points on 5/16 from the field and 3/10 from beyond the arc. Jonathan Kuminga and Dario Saric both finished with 11 points.
The Warriors and Timberwolves will play one other again on Tuesday in the In-Season Tournament group stage. The Houston Rockets will visit to wrap out this six-game home stand after they play two games against Oklahoma City.
