Luka Doncic will soon be earning as much as the NBA’s collective bargaining agreement permits the Dallas Mavericks to pay him; however, for the time being, the superstar from Slovenia is guaranteed a salary of $7,431,120 per year through his rookie contract (not including any money he receives from endorsements).

It was just a question of time until he decided to put down some Dallas roots and invested a little sum of money.

CandysDirt.com, a real estate publication in Dallas, broke the story last week that Doncic had indeed done just that, purchasing a $2,745,350 home in the affluent Preston Hollow suburb of Dallas.

The 4,225-square-foot, 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom property at 9119 Guernsey Lane is situated on a 0.78-acre lot and is “a five-minute drive or seven-minute bike ride to his boss Mark Cuban’s house on Deloache Avenue,” according to Preston Hollow People.

The façade of the home, which was renovated recently by John Huffman of JH Design + Build, features the same white brick as the neighboring NorthPark Center, a popular shopping destination in Dallas, and was designed in 1984 by modernist architect Hardy McCullah.

In addition, it has a projector for the pool area, a four-car garage with transparent doors, ceiling heaters for the outside patio, a fire pit area between the living room and master bedroom, and a smart home system.

This contemporary masterpiece is situated on a.78-acre site in a posh, tranquil location that feels like a getaway from the city, tucked away on a peaceful cul-de-sac in the Preston Hollow estate neighborhood. The main living area is downstairs, which features an extremely well-organized, welcoming floor plan that makes excellent use of available space. The large windows that fill the entire house let in an abundance of natural light and offer stunning views of the modern pool and well-kept backyard. Control4, a smart home system, has been modified to expand into living areas both inside and outside of homes. A new metal roof, power blinds, an outdoor projector, improved pool equipment, a lot of landscape work, and a complete renovation of the audio/video wiring and security system are among the other modifications. A retractable movie projection screen, many flat-screen TVs, an outdoor pavilion with a grill and built-in heaters are just a few of the outdoor entertainment areas’ features. Nothing on this property was missed!
