On Monday, November 13, the Boston Celtics will play their 10th game of the season. It will be against the New York Knicks. As the season gets going, the Celtics have won their last two games and seem to be on the rise.

At the time this was written, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were both expected to play in the game against New York. Tatum has been playing so well so far this season that he’s almost been named MVP. He is more determined when he’s on offense. He attacks from the post, puts pressure on the basket, and regularly gets to the line.

Tatum’s changed shot profile has made him an even bigger threat for the Celtics on offense. In the first few weeks of the season, he’s also been one of the best guards in the NBA. There’s no doubt that Tatum wants to win a title this year.

Still, Jaylen Brown wants to be more consistent with how he plays. This season, he’s had some great games for the Celtics, but he’s also had some tough nights, both when it comes to scoring and guarding. Brown was named to the NBA’s second-team All-NBA and just signed the biggest deal in NBA history. As the season goes on, he will definitely find stability.

This summer, the Boston Celtics made their team stronger

Last year, the Boston Celtics lost in the Eastern Conference Finals, so Brad Stevens and the rest of the front office chose to make some changes. In order to add more star power to their rotation, they moved Marcus Smart, Malcolm Brogdon, Grant Williams, and some of their role-playing players.

Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday came in. These days, the Celtics have one of the best teams in the NBA. Boston’s best floor space comes from Porzingis, who has helped Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown play their best. Also, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White are two great point-of-attack guards for them.

Because of this season, Boston’s bench unit has been a worry. It’s not the same since Al Horford moved to the bench, and Payton Pritchard started the new season in a terrible shooting slump. But Pritchard seems to be back on track, and Horford is valuable in more ways than just how many points he scores.

Fears about Boston’s bench, then, seem to have been unfounded. Of course, Sam Hauser’s amazing shooting skills have also been very helpful.

This season, the Celtics should be one of the teams that competes for the NBA title. There are early signs that those hopes are more than reasonable.
