NBA GOAT LeBron James Deserves a Title for His Vegan Smoothies

LeBron James, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, may be the Vegan Smoothie King. James stays healthy off the court with a strict diet and fitness routine. James uses his own vegan smoothie recipes.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend, noted for his athleticism and durability, attributes his success to his rigorous training and diet. His protein smoothies, which are almost as famous as his fadeaway jumper, compliment his diet of lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables.

Fans seeking to replicate the King’s health practices could try his vegan protein drink, which tastes great and provides the nutrients an athlete needs.

James makes his smoothie using plant-based protein powder, a frozen banana, a dollop of peanut butter, vanilla almond milk, and ice.

LeBron James Launches Ladder, a Line of Nutritional and Performance Supplements

James will turn 39 next month, making him the NBA’s oldest player. How does he keep playing well? His vegan smoothie may be the key.

James’ drink contains plant protein from Ladder, a sports nutrition firm he started last year with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Some Ladder goods include whey, making them non-vegan.

The company sells vegan protein, including James’ smoothie-friendly chocolate plant protein. The plant protein powder contains 21 vegan amino acids and minimum additives including pea protein and tart cherry to help muscle repair and recovery.

Ladder expanded into 690 Vitamin Shoppe and Super Supplements locations and online last year, marking a major milestone for the company, which had previously sold just online.

James started Ladder by searching for high-quality vitamins after a key moment in the 2014 NBA Finals. With his longtime trainer, Mike Mancias, and Schwarzenegger’s advice, James created a line of clean performance items that can now support health goals at all fitness levels through retail.

“We created Ladder to address a need for clean, safe, effective products that we could trust, and that would help maximize our peak performance,” James stated last year. “Seeing how it’s grown into a community of athletes of every level, all trying to achieve their goals, is pretty special.”

“I’m excited that this partnership with The Vitamin Shoppe will make Ladder even more accessible as we innovate the product and grow the community,” James added.

James, a Blaze Pizza investor, enjoys “cheat meals” like pizza. Blaze provides vegan pizza since 2019, whereas Domino’s and Pizza Hut don’t.
