During the regular season of the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzlies 134–107. This was their third straight win. With Rui Hachimura’s 23 points, the Lakers got their second win in the event. D’Angelo Russell led the team with 24 points. This season, they are now 5-0 at home.
Davis had a great game for the Lakers. He scored 19 points and grabbed 11 boards. LeBron James and Austin Reaves both scored 16 points.
The team shot very well and made 22 three-pointers, which is a club record. Out of their eight tries, Russell made six of them, which is 62.9 percent of their shots from beyond the arc.
After sitting out the last game because of a sprained left leg, LeBron James played again. It made a big difference that he grabbed nine boards and passed the ball six times in just 23 minutes.
The Grizzlies had David Roddy score 17 points and Santi Aldama score 24 points. This made things hard for the Grizzlies because they were without Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, Derrick Rose, Ja Morant (who was banned), Marcus Smart (who hurt his ankle), and Luke Kennard (who hurt his knee).
The Lakers won the first quarter and were ahead 37–26 going into the second. During the whole game, they kept playing well. They won their second in-season event and fifth straight game at home, which showed how good they are at scoring and how tough they are on the court.
