๏ปฟLos Angeles Lakers star LeBron James scored a triple-double in the National Basketball Association (NBA) regular championship game on Wednesday, but it did not save his team from losing to the Sacramento Kings.

James scored 28 points, grabbed ten rebounds, and gave 11 assists, but the Los Angeles team lost at home 110-125 (25-38, 34-34, 21-32, 30-21).
For James, this was the first of the season and the 108th โtriple-doubleโ of his 21-year NBA career, which allowed him to overtake Jason Kidd and rank fifth in the history of the league. Only Russell Westbrook (198), Oscar Robertson (181), Magic Johnson (138), and Nikola Jokic (109) have more such games.
D’Angelo Russell also scored 28 points for the Lakers in Wednesdayโs match, while Lithuanian Domantas Sabonis scored 29+16 for the Kings, who won their fourth consecutive victory. Kevin Huerter and De’Aaron Fox scored 28 points each for the winners.
