These amazing new tattoos of Ja Morant were revealed, and one of them is a secret birthday nod. But fans are worried about one piece of ink

After getting a 25-game ban from the NBA in June, JA Morant has been pretty quiet.

The troubled Memphis Grizzlies guard came back to social media in a big way, though, by showing off a bunch of new tattoos on his body.

Morant got a big tattoo on his back at the studio of famous tattoo artist Andres Ortega. It has the names of his three basketball teams so far: Crestwood High School, Murray State University, and the Grizzlies.

On top of that, there is a picture of dice and cards with the words “Life’s a gаmble.”

The late NBA star Kobe Bryant is remembered with a picture of his No. 24 jersey from the Los Angeles Lakers, along with the word “Mentality,” which refers to Bryant’s Mamba Mentality way of thinking.

On the middle back of Morant’s shirt, there is a logo that says “Ja 12,” which is his present NBA number.

Morant has the numbers 19 and 99 on his front collarbones. These numbers represent the year he was born.

Morant also has an all-seeing eye and the sign for Meek Mill’s record label, Dream Chasers, on his chest.

He also has the Nike swoosh logo on his back, which is interesting because the sportswear company has stood by Morant during his current gu𝚗 problems.

After an Instagram Live video in which he seemed to be carrying a gu𝚗, NBA commissioner Adam Silver banned Morant for 25 games. He will lose at least $47.6 million.

After getting an eight-game suspension in March for a case of first-degree gu𝚗 viоlence, Silver got Һit with a long ban that will hurt the Grizzlies’ 2023–24 season and put Morant’s NBA career on hold.

When it comes to his advertising deals, Morant has a lot of money on the line.

But after the ban, Nike said in a statement, “We are glad that Ja is taking responsibility and putting his health first.”

“We will continue to support him on and off the court.”

Some fans think that J.J. Morant’s choice to get a tattoo of the Grizzlies could hurt him if the NBA team trades for the struggling guard.

One fan asked, “What will happen when he leaves Memphis?”

“He’ll feel bad about the Memphis tattoo in Xinjiang,” said someone else as a joke.

“But he won’t have room for when he gets traded,” said a third.
