Lonely Battle: Ominous Statistics Highlight Stephen Curry’s Solitary Stand at the Golden State Warriors

If the Golden State Warriors want to win, the experts say Stephen Curry has to have a monster game. If it doesn’t happen, the squad will definitely lose.

There have been six players named “Player of the Week” since the 2023–24 NBA Regular Season began, with half going to each area.

Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokic, Tyrese Maxey, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, and Anthony Edwards are among these names. At 30.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game, Stephen Curry stands out among them.

Even with Stephen Curry’s stellar performances, the Golden State Warriors only managed 6 victories out of 11 matchups, good for 54% of the time.

The Philadelphia 76ers(8-1), Boston Celtics(8-2), Timberwolves(7-2) and Denver Nuggets(8-2) are far ahead of this 6-5 line. Weekly Honoree: Player.

Based on these numbers, Stephen Curry has to be considered one of the best players in the NBA right now, if not the best in the West.

Even with Curry’s best efforts, the Warriors were unable to secure victory because to the inconsistency of the satellites.

On the latest episode of NBA Today, editor Malika Andrews brought up another concerning statistic, further highlighting Curry’s feelings of isolation and powerlessness.

As a whole, 125 players have scored 20 points or more this season, with 4 players from each side doing the feat on average. Stephen Curry is the only member on the Golden State Warriors’ roster to ever score more than 20 points.

In addition to the aforementioned index, the “chef” now ranks first in the NBA with eleven games in which he has scored twenty points or more. With the exception of his 21 points against the Sacramento Kings, Curry has scored 20 or more points in every game this season.

Nonetheless, the Warriors only managed 6 wins and 5 losses in those 11 games, with 4 of those losses coming in their last 5 games.

Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Chris Paul, and Draymond Green are among the other players who are “submerged” with leader Stephen Curry, who is responsible for much of the offense for the Warriors.

With an average of 16.1 points per game in the first ten games since the season began, Klay Thompson is one of the rare players whose scoring is reasonably consistent. However, compared to last season’s 41.2% 3PT, his performance is significantly down at 34.7%.

Given that an All-Star is averaging just 10.5 points per game—nearly half of his career average of 19.0 points per game—the most responsible party is likely to be Andrew Wiggins.

The Warriors can’t win without Stephen, according to the experts. His absence will drastically reduce Golden State’s match-winning chances.
