Steph Curry Takes a Shot at Rapping on Tobe Nwigwe’s ‘Lil Fish, Big Pond’

Steph Curry 'Raps' In Tobe Nwigwe's 'Lil Fish, Big Pond'

Tobe Nwigwe, a rapper from Texas, has worked with some interesting names in the past, including Bun B, CyHi The Prynce, Chamillionaire, and 2 Chainz. Damian Lillard, who plays for the NBA, has collaborated with him under the rap moniker Dame D.O.L.L.A. Despite the fact that this NBA great is more famous for hitting the 3-pointer than rapping like Dame, Tobe added him to the list today. Steph Curry seems to show off even more skills in the music video for “Lil Fish, Big Pond” by Nwigwe, following his previous excellent performance on the golf field.

As the two performers go fishing in a pond, it’s obvious that Tobe is the one rapping most of the time, even though Curry is good at lip-syncing. To be honest, it’s hard not to imagine Steph Curry rapping for a second after seeing the Steph reveal. After all, he’s not the first NBA player to consider rapping as a side hustle. In fact, a lot of them, even the casual ones, are decent, if not “Hip-Hop Hall of Fame” good. Tobe, who always directs and styles the video, comes up with a fascinating concept anyhow. The video also has some impressive digital effects.
