Jordan Clarkson is one of the most stylish players out there. Not long ago, he showed off his perfect style at New York Fashion Week. He wore a huge Tommy Hilfiger rugby sweater with stripes while he stood next to the famous designer. Upon leaving the hotel lobby, he was dressed in a Canadian tuxedo by Balenciaga from Demna and a large cross pendant by the up-and-coming jeweler Alex Moss. The gray tweed suit jacket and skirt were by Thom Browne. He wore them to the Harper’s Bazaar Global Icons Portfolio and Bloomingdale’s 150th Anniversary party.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that Clarkson or someone else famous wears clothes by these makers. That being said, one of the jazz star’s latest fashion projects might come as a surprise. Clarkson is in the newest ad campaign for Lululemon.

Clarkson wears a lot of different items from the brand in the “Your Move” ad campaign, from bright yellow Pace Breaker shorts that are great for working out to more casual styles like tan trench coats. Even though Clarkson was just a part of Ye’s Yeezy SHDZ promotion, he thinks that Lululemon’s next chapter could be successful.

To be honest, they’re taking the company to a whole new level. It could be trends, workouts, or something else. Clarkson tells Complex, “I think they are getting better at all of that.” He really likes the Parkway Insulated Coat that he’s wearing in the picture. “That’s like my favorite piece ever,” he says in other words.

Clarkson is the kind of famous person who could really help Lululemon’s reputation. It keeps getting stronger that he is one of the most stylish NBA players. But is he really the best? Despite the fact that he’ll likely also send flowers to Kyle Kuzma and Frank Jackson, he still thinks this is true.

The singer Clarkson says, “Everyone got their own style.” “But I think I’m definitely the best dressed,” she replied.

Clarkson, who is going to be in the NBA for the tenth time, will have his own problems to deal with this year. Please tell us more about how you work with Lululemon. What is it about them that makes them the perfect business partner for your project?

They naturally grew close to each other. This brand-new, ground-breaking idea gave me hope. They are really making the business more well-known. It could be trends, workouts, or something else. I think they are getting better in all the important areas.

We see you around town today, I know. You are shown in front of a lot of people in shop ads and big window displays. Will you finally put out joint clothing as part of this relationship? Do you see yourself taking part in that?

What do you know? Maybe, because I always change things like clothes and style to make them my own. It’s okay to not know about that right now. That is, if they let me be myself.

Emotional health is what the ad is all about. People often talk about how important it is for skilled athletes to be physically fit, but what about their mental health?

It’s been very helpful for my personal and career growth. I’ve always been the one to work hard at the gym, going there first thing in the morning and staying until I was done. However, I’ve changed a lot as a person since I started to meditate and pay attention to my breaths and thoughts. It really has changed me for the better and given me a better outlook on life.

With all the games and travel, it’s clear that the season can be very hard. What do you do to stay sane during the busy holiday season?

When it comes to me, I just take my time leaving. It’s normal for me to lock myself in a hotel room and do nothing. I like places that are quiet and peaceful. I close my eyes, take a few deep breaths, and pay attention to what’s going on around me. All I want to do right now is enjoy this experience as much as I can. It’s already there. There is that on the buses. In fact, there are times when I don’t even wear my headphones. If I close my eyes and listen to the world, I’m trying to tune it out.

I’d also like to say a few things about fashion. I’m sure you were out during New York Fashion Week. Is there a show or event you went to that really stands out to you?

Overall, it’s been a great experience. It was sick that Givenchy made a selection. Matthew Williams always looks put together because he has a good sense of style. Tom’s show was great, in my opinion. I think Jaylen Brown had something to do with what happened in that way. It rained on the show, but it was still great to see Travis Barker rock the drums. In a way, even the rain was cool. The goal of beauty seems to have been met. Travis’s slapping drums and the water splashes that followed made for a tough workout.

There are other NBA players in the area besides you. Is it cool to see how the NBA’s style keeps changing? There are a lot of you who are now fully into the world of high fashion.

In simple terms, it’s sick as hell. And for anyone else, it’s just another way to follow their dreams and be a part of something they care deeply about. You can do it if you give it some thought. So, this is just another road that has already been made. This just gives the NBA’s up-and-coming young stars more chances to shine.

Your jacket and skirt from Thom Browne were one of the most interesting things I saw on the web. Where did you get those parts?

I think that all of Thom Browne’s ideas are great. He is going in a great artistic direction. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander might have worked as a model at the Paris show. So, I looked at the seasonal titles to get an idea of what to expect. It looks like the outfit I wore to New York Fashion Week won’t be out until the summer. It was an easy choice for me.

With the Thom Browne team, I’ve had a great time ever since I lived in Cleveland. During the meeting, I said I was going to cut my clothes, which I did. It was a suit, but I cut the legs shorter. The job is done by Bron. Last but not least, we all cut our pants down to make them into shorts. There aren’t any cheap suits in this range. “Man, why is he doing that?” was the question that everyone in the room asked. That was just my imagination talking, though.

That trip to Cleveland will always be in my mind. In the middle of the Big Game?

Yeah. It makes me feel like I’m so tired. I finally understood that we were in San Francisco. Guy, I can’t take the heat. Is this what I need to wear to the game? I need to hem these jeans, bro. It’s funny. Everyone tried to look like they were on the same page. We all texted an outfit picture and some words to each other in a group.

People have said that your new Thom Browne suit looks a lot like Russell Westbrook’s dress for the Met Gala. I want to know if Russ has changed the way you dress.

That’s what I think. Still, different designers have different tastes. Thom Browne is very good at this. Most likely, we’re just good at making the clothes look nice.

Who made the huge cross necklace you’ve been wearing?

That was made just for you by Alex Moss. A lot of Tyler, the Creator’s gems were made by him. He may have also made Drake a ring not long ago. It’s cool that they get along.

Aside from that, I saw that you helped promote the Yeezy SHDZ. What do you have to do with Ye?

Our bond is great. I think that is really cool. Everyone around made a difference. I took part in that. Let’s talk about Kanye. I thought that was funny.

I have a quick question about your tattoos. You didn’t have any at first, but now it looks like you’re fully safe. What made you want to learn more about that subject and try some

tattoos?

I’ve always been interested in this. Finding the right people was all I had to do. After a while, I didn’t want to get a lot of weird tattoos that I’d have to cover up. I think that my ideas turned out to be right in the end. I finally found a tattoo artist who could do what I wanted. I made a very small start. I couldn’t choose between the two possible routes. At first, there were little pieces. After that, I chose to be very practical. This is where everything about my story will be kept. That friendship grew easily too, and it’s now on the same level as my best friends. His name is Steve Wiebe. He’s like a brother or sister to me. He’s like a brother or cousin to me. We met for the first time at the gym. I used to have a few small tattoos. The ink was put on my body every day for a week after that. It’s funny.

For as long as I can remember, you’ve been one of the best-dressed players in the league. But since you moved to Utah, the talk has really picked up. The way you dress is very different from everyone else’s.

It moves well, in my opinion. What fits you the best? Even though clothes are very innovative on their own, I think that the people who wear them are just as responsible for the end result as the makers. Take Kim Kardashian wearing a famous Marilyn Monroe piece as an example. You wouldn’t say that “the Marilyn Monroe piece” was made by “blah, blah, blah.” That’s why I think it’s all clever. The clothes I wear are the ones I like, feel good in, and think look good. I don’t need to think about it. Picking up things off the floor is the first thing I do when I wake up. Getting ready for fashion week has made my room look like a war zone with clothes all over the place. This is how I dress.

Of course, you’re interested in the games and action on the court, but the pictures you shared from the tunnel are also getting a lot of attention. During the season, do you pay any attention to that?

 

Not at all, but I’m not looking at anything anyway. This is how things stand. The best thing about it is that it’s all filled with love. If they pay attention, it’s all love. I don’t think I’ve given much thought to anything that could affect my body or mind. That’s going to change how the match goes. I feel really stuck. Everyone I work with and my friends see me every day. I have to force myself out of bed every day so I can focus on the things I need to do.

Which off-season snag are you most excited about?

Right now, my most prized asset is the Lululemon trench coat. It looks heavy, but it’s actually quite light. Oh my god. To sum it up, that’s the coolest thing ever. No, really. I wore it in the video. It serves a purpose and is something I could use every day.

As a player, do you think your closet is the best in the league?

Yeah. The catch was that everyone got something. We all look different. It seems like Frank Jackson is always around. It looks like he’s on his own wave. Kuz was also able to catch a wave. But I think I’m the best dressed. It’s funny.

It’s funny that you brought up those jerks. We just got off the phone, and Kuz brought up you and Frank Jackson.

That’s a crazy idea. I really like Frank Jackson. I think he is the most honest with himself. Really, that’s really hot.

This season, many teams are bringing back old uniforms and tactics for the court. Putting on purple mountain-era outfits, the Jazz are bringing back an old look. Are you excited to play a game with those?

Okay, why not? Without a doubt, the shirt is famous. It all comes full circle. The style of the 1990s is coming back. As a general rule, clothes should fit loosely. It seems like that’s just how things are. People will always remember when the Jazz put on their mountain clothes and beat Jordan in the playoffs. I think the San Antonio Spurs have a strange artifact. The Fiesta shirts were brought back about two or three years ago. It’s great that you guys are bringing back all these old songs, buddy. I remember seeing people in those shirts on the field when I was a kid. You can wear them now that you’re famous. It is not the same at all. I really think it’s sick.

There is still hope in my heart as a Sixers fan that the team will bring back the Iverson throwback outfits.

But those will be the sickest things ever if they ever come back. Putting together black and red. What the heck? Those shirts are really cool. They also can’t get them cut down. Dude, they should be really big. Kobe had a shorter length because the Lakers wore Showtime outfits. In other words, they can’t avoid wearing shorts that are way too loose. Do the impossible.

There have been a lot of changes for the Jazz this summer during the basketball season. Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell are no longer on the team. After all the changes, what do you think about the next season?

I really don’t know. At this point, I’m ready for anything. I’ve been in the league for nine years now. In this field, I feel like a young expert. Because of this, I’m ready to go wherever the managers, owners, and I of the team decide to go. I only want to win and take whichever team I’m on to the next level so that we can win a title in the end. It doesn’t matter if I wear a new jersey next week or if I get a call tomorrow and have to put on whatever jersey it is. That’s how I see it. I’m in Utah only to win. I want to try to make it to the playoffs and put together a strong team. Man, it’s rough getting down from that high. Our victory seems to have been going on for three years in a row. We were the best team in the league a few years ago. Even though it wasn’t our best year, we came in fourth in the West. We missed yet another chance to win the title. It’s hard, but the morning always brings better weather and the need to figure something out.

Trades and changes to the team happen all the time in the NBA. Fans will remember you, Julius Randle, Brandon Ingram, and D’Lo as a young group that makes a big impact on the team. You’ve all moved on to other companies and done well there. Have you ever thought about what might have happened if you and your partner had stayed together longer and grown together?

I always thought that having all of us there would fail. I guess each of us was a star in our own right [Laughs]. To get a change of scenery, we all split up and went our different ways. I know about the tweets and other online talk. It’s funny now that you think about it. When they picked us in the draft, I think the Lakers did a great job of analyzing us, seeing our skills, and giving us a chance. We were all on the same side, though, so I don’t see how it could have worked out. If you get what I mean, we wouldn’t have come back with a title or anything. No matter what, they got us LeBron. It’s just part of the job. Every one of us shone in our own way. We had to leave the places we were used to in order to grow in new ways.

When you played for the Philippines, I saw you. Tell me more about what this means to you and how important basketball is in that country.

It’s an honor to just stand up for the country. Love is always with me. The words of support are always there. Every chance I get to act and represent that country is one of the best times of my life. When the World Cup pools are drawn in August, we might get lucky and win a few games. That way, we might get to the Olympics. That’s the main thing I want to do for my country and the national team.
