IN DETROIT — During the first half of Denver’s NBA game at Detroit on Monday night (Tuesday, Manila time), Nikola Jokic and Nuggets coach Mike Malone were both thrown out.

Nikola Jokic gets lost

Jokic got his first technical foul in the first quarter for disputing a call. Malone was kicked off the court for disputing a call too late in the period. He was thrown out after fighting about another call with 1:22 left in the first half.

He played for 15:13 minutes and had nine points, five rebounds, and five assists before getting thrown out.

At the break, the Nuggets were ahead 56–55. The Pistons (2-12) had lost 11 straight games before the game.
