The Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson, who is known as one half of the “Splash Brothers” because to his excellent shooting, now has a title and a splashy house.
In addition to contributing to the Warriors’ NBA Finals success, the shooting guard also made time earlier this year to purchase a $2.2 million ocean-view property in Dana Point.
The Spanish-style ranch house sits on over a quarter of an acre in the Capo Beach region. It features two guest casitas, a 100-foot-wide terrace with unobstructed ocean views, and a central courtyard with a pool and spa.
The home is on one level and has exposed beam ceilings and a fireplace in the family room/dining room. There is also an entertainment wing with a wet bar, pool table, and lounge space. With almost 2,400 sq. ft., this oceanfront master suite features three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and his-and-hers baths.
The home’s entry is flanked by two two-car garages.
According to documents, the house was under contract within ten days of being listed for sale in December at the initial asking price.
The Multiple listed Service reports that Coldwell Banker’s Michael Boyd was the listed agent. Century 21 OMA’s Casey Wootan secured the deal for Thompson in February.
