This is Kobe Bryant’s old home in Irvine, California. It’s back on the market for $2.6 million, less than six months after it first sold.
And it’s clear that the house has been updated.
The late Lakers LéBron James and his wife, Vanessa Bryant, bought the three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home for $1.3 million in 2013.
Nine months after the five-time NBA star died too soon, on Oct. 27, 2020, Vanessa put the house on the market for $1.995 million. The Los Angeles Times says that the house was bought for $2 million just two days later.
However, it was clear that the new owner had big plans for the land.
The listing calls the house a “completely remodeled single-story eem.”

The home’s master suite has views of the green garden and is said to feel like “a fancy hotel.” It has an elegant custom dual-vanity bathroom, an expanded shower, a soaking tub, and a spacious walk-in closet.
Vanessa, 38, sold the investment home she bought with Kobe, but she still lives in the five-bedroom, six-bathroom Newport Coast estate just a few miles away with her three kids, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.
