The romance between Austin Reaves and Jenna Barber began when they were very young.

The shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers hasn’t talked much about his friendship with Barber, but the two went to Cedar Ridge High School and grew up in Newark, Arkansas. The pair have reportedly been together since 2014, according to the New York Post. Reaves has never acknowledged their relationship in public, though.

Barber has however been a supporter of Reaves’ basketball career from the start: in May 2020, she posted on Facebook about a shot that Reaves made to win a game while playing for the University of Oklahoma. Barber also supported her lover in 2023 when the Los Angeles Lakers were in the playoffs.

Barber’s Facebook page states that she currently resides in Newark, Arkansas, her hometown.

She completed her schooling at the University of Arkansas Community College in Batesville, staying in her native state. Barber graduated with honors in May 2020, having obtained an associate’s degree in science. She subsequently enrolled at and graduated from the University of Arkansas in December 2022. She is a student at Logan College of Chiropractic right now.

She is the sister of two

Jordan Barber Wheeler, Barber’s twin sister, was born on December 20, 2000.

Jordan is currently employed as a speech-language pathologist assistant after completing his studies in communication sciences and disorders at Arkansas State University. Jordan and her spouse, Keaton Wheeler, reside in Arkansas, just like her sister. Jordan and Keaton supported Reaves during a Lakers playoff basketball game in Memphis, Tennessee, back in April 2023.

Barber loves being active and spending time outside. She has uploaded pictures of herself to social media that show her riding horses, hiking, biking, and hanging out at the beach.

Reaves and she both adore golf

Reaves and Barber enjoy other sports besides basketball. Additionally, the pair is an avid golfer. Together, they went to the U.S. Open in June 2023. Posting pictures from their vacation to Facebook, Barber wrote, “You can always catch us on a golf course.”

Additionally, Barber shared a photo of Reaves practicing with the message, “Always gotta find the golf courses.” It was therefore not surprising that she honored Reaves and his passion for golf on his birthday in May 2023.

She used to be employed at a pharmacy

Barber worked at Newark Pharmacy before attending the University of Arkansas, according to her Facebook page. On her last day of employment in August 2020, she received a nice gift basket from her coworkers, for which she posted a thank you message.

Barber attended the University of Arkansas and was a member of the sorority Alpha Omicron Pi. She talked about her passion for her sorority in a number of Facebook posts.

She belongs to VSCO

Barber posts edited, carefully chosen images of her life on her VSCO account in addition to her busy Facebook presence. Barber has posted pictures of herself with Reaves, nail art, her taste in interior design, and her love of candy on her profile.

She is in favor of his basketball career

Barber is Reaves’ biggest admirer. The couple went to the FIBA Basketball World Cup together in the summer of 2023. Barber posted pictures and videos of Reaves participating in different games on her Facebook page. She also captured their off-court activities, such as playing golf and lounging on the beach, on camera.

Throughout the 2022–2023 season, the native of Arkansas showed Reaves a lot of support. She raved about him on Facebook following a Los Angeles Lakers game in January. “Some of my favorite things: traveling, good company, lakers basketball, & #15,” she added.
