Erling Haaland, a striker for Man City, is the newest athlete to become a spokesman for Beats by Dre. In a new ad campaign to promote his new job, the Norwegian stood with NBA star LeBron James.
This season, Haaland has scored nine goals in nine Premier League games. He has kept up his dangerous form in front of goal. A well-known player in the league, he will now be in charge of the line for a well-known headphones business.
Some well-known players who already work for Beats by Dre are LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, Neymar of PSG, Alessia Russo of Arsenal, and Frances Tiafoe of the US tennis team. When Haaland’s debut was announced, a picture of the striker playing with James was used to honor his Norwegian background. The match was called “The King and the Viking.”
For the partnership’s YouTube movie, James’s wife Savannah and Haaland’s dad Alfie can be heard giving good advice to their families. He said of his new deal, “I’m excited to join the Beats family.” Since I’m an athlete, Beats has always been a part of my warm-up.
“These ads and partnership really show that I care about my family.” The fact that James has kept his job at Beats by Dre since 2008 when we talked about family is proof of this. The company has also hired his wife Savannah and two children, Bryce and Zhuri.
“It’s pretty cool to see how our family and I have grown together over the years,” James said. “It’s an honor to be on stage with them and a brand that has been a part of our lives since the start of this journey.” I really care about my family!
Samsung, Viaplay, and Hyperice have already agreed to work with Haaland on marketing. He also has a deal with Nike worth £200 million that lasts for more than ten years.
Because of big bonuses built into his deal, the 23-year-old gets almost £900,000 a week at Man City.
In City’s 2-1 win over Brighton over the weekend, he scored to keep up his good start to the season. Julian Alvarez got the first goal for his team, and he scored the second. But Ansu Fati scored the third goal, which won the game.
