Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for Real Madrid, wore some unreleased adidas Predators on Wednesday during his team’s Champions League match against Napoli.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Bellingham onto the field donning brand-new adidas Predator boots, which are modeled after the styles worn by Real Madrid great Zinedine Zidane. The England international scored in the first half of the match to give his team a 2-1 lead. The boots have not yet been made public, but they appear to be doing their job.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Bellingham is not the only well-known player to have appeared on the field in newly introduced adidas boots recently. Trent Alexander-Arnold, the right-back for Liverpool, was seen on Saturday during his team’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City sporting a pair of next-generation adidas Predator footwear. The Madrid midfielder hinted at the possible reappearance of the Predators’ renowned tongue during their weekend matchup with Cadiz.

Bellingham scored his 15th goal of the season in all competitions against Napoli. The 20-year-old has scored four goals in as many Champions League games, to go along with the 11 goals he has scored in 12 La Liga games since moving to the Santiago Bernabeu.
