The OKC Thunder beat LeBron James and the LA Lakers 133–110 on Thursday night, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scoring 33 points.
She made 11 out of 18 field goals and 10 out of 10 free throws. The Thunder had just lost close games to Philadelphia and Minnesota. Jalen Williams scored 21 points and Chet Holmgren added 18.
Antony Davis scored 31 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Los Angeles. Lakers’ James scored 21 points, grabbed 12 boards, and passed the ball six times. With a sprained left calf, he was a game-time choice.
Oklahoma City made 53.2% of its shots from the field and turned the ball over just nine times.
This week has been up and down for the Lakers. The first game they played, they lost to Philadelphia by 44 points. In the next game, they beat Detroit by 26 points.
The Lakers had a 14-point lead after the first quarter, but the Thunder took over in the second and beat the Lakers 42–23. At halftime, they were ahead 72–60.
Before halftime, Gilgeous-Alexander scored 22 points and Davis scored 19 for the Lakers.
Oklahoma City’s lead grew in the third quarter, and they went into the fourth with a 108-88 lead. Holmgren made 4 of 5 shots in the third quarter and scored 10 points.
For the rest of the game, the Thunder were ahead by at least 15 points.
