In Wednesday night’s 134-124 victory over the Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic earned his third career 30-point triple-double with zero turnovers, the most in NBA history since the league started monitoring individual turnovers in 1977–78.
In 34 minutes of play, the two-time MVP finished with 32 points, 10 rebounds, 15 assists, and one steal. The 28-year-old Jokic made 12-of-19 (63.2%) free throws and drained a 3-pointer.
Using a few NBA betting sites as references, the Denver Nuggets have the third-shortest odds to have current season repeat in 2024. Better odds are being offered by sportsbooks for the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics.
And he made 7 of 8 (87.5%) of his shots at the foul line. He led all other players with his sixth triple-double of the campaign. Only eight triples have been made by all other NBA players combined before tonight.
Jokic scored at least thirty points, drew ten rebounds, and handed out ten assists while committing no turnovers on sixty percent of the shots during the previous two seasons.

Jokic holds the record for the most triple-doubles in NBA history with 94, all on at least 50% of the field. Leading NBA Hall of Famers Oscar Robertson (92) and Magic Johnson (86) is the nine-year veteran.
Jokic is the league leader after 18 games this season in terms of total rebounds (237), defensive rebounds (175), field goals (205), win shares (4.1), player efficiency rating (34.6), box plus/minus (15.7), and value above replacement player (2.7).
Nikola Jokic has a 90.9% chance of being admitted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, according to the Basketball-Reference database.
Denver outscored the Rockets 41–26 in the first quarter of their victory on Wednesday. Guard Jamal Murray scored 16 points after missing 11 games, and big Michael Porter Jr. of the Nuggets scored a season-high 30 points.

In November, Denver had suffered two losses against the Rockets, the most recent being a 19-point loss five days prior in Houston. The Rockets dropped to 0-7 away from home, while the Nuggets increased their NBA-best home record to 9-0.
