As is well known, LeBron James’s mother raised him as a single parent and overcame many obstacles throughout her life. LeBron became one of the wealthiest persons in the world and possibly the best basketball player of all time, making her sacrifices worthwhile. 

Since his debut in the NBA as the first overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers, James has been nothing short of a superstar. Despite his enormous wealth from the NBA and his many off-court business endeavors, James has never lost touch with his humble beginnings. On February 4th, his mother Gloria James will celebrate 54 years old, and he proved it once again with a sophisticated present. 

LeBron surprised his mom with a Mercedes G Wagon SUV before her birthday and posted a touching note on Instagram to accompany the kind gesture. 

Gloria took to Instagram to express her gratitude to her famous son and her undying love for LeBron. 

Even though he has been very successful, LeBron has never shied away from taking care of his family as best he can. He is a family man at heart. However, things aren’t looking well for him in the NBA, as the Lakers are mired in a.500 record at 23-23. If the rest of the team doesn’t start performing like an MVP soon, James will get all the gifts in the world from the King.
