The Miami Heat player Jimmy Butler isn’t afraid to say what’s on his mind.Jimmy Bradley
His prediction that the Heat will prevail over the Celtics in Game 7 of last year’s Eastern Conference finals was backed by solid evidence. You can count on him to let you know when the Heat are on a roll.
We are exactly where we want to avoid being: very average. In a statement relayed by Brady Hawk of Five Reasons Sports, Butler characterized the performance as lacking in quality. Our offensive, as you say, has been average. When you bring up our defense, it’s been adequate at best.
Currently, the Heat and Cleveland are tied for seventh place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 11-9. However, only 20 games have been played so far. Making it to the Finals last year taught us one thing about the Heat: they were average until the playoffs began.
So unimpressive after twenty games? I agree with Butler. There you can find the Heat. However, if there’s one thing we know about the Heat, it’s that they excel when the stakes are high, and Butler is usually at the helm of that charge.
