Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks Star, Already Dreaming of Las Vegas

The Milwaukee Bucks are getting closer to winning the first NBA In-Season Tournament. With an undefeated 4-0 record, they won East Group B and advanced to the semifinals, where they would face the New York Knicks, who had earned the No. 4 position in the East through a wildcard slot.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and company will travel to Las Vegas for the in-season tournament semifinals if the Bucks defeat the Knicks on Tuesday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks’ icon, was recently asked to discuss Milwaukee’s next game against the Knicks and the possibility of traveling to beautiful Las Vegas if they win. It turns out that the former MVP has everything arranged for the trip:

According to Giannis, “Whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” Brew Hoops’ Gabe Stoltz reported. “I’m heading to the roulette table. Give me twice as much money.

Even if Giannis was joking about a little, Antetokounmpo’s elite mindset is still evident from this. He has already seen defeating the Knicks, which is undoubtedly a difficult assignment.

In the standings, the 12-7 Knicks are currently only 1.5 games behind Milwaukee, and it’s obvious that Jalen Brunson and the other players aren’t playing around.

But after defeating the East rivals 110-105 at the Fiserv Forum on November 3, the Bucks are already ahead in the game. Milwaukee defeated the Knicks for the seventh time in a row with that victory, and they will undoubtedly aim to make it eight on Tuesday night.

What’s at stake in this highly-anticipated contest is a semifinal matchup against either the Boston Celtics or the Indiana Pacers. The fact that the game will be played in a Las Vegas backdrop makes things even more interesting.
