In honor of the official opening of BroSis’s stunning rooftop basketball court—funded by the Kevin Durant Charity Foundation’s “Build It and They Will Ball” initiative—the 12-time All-Star, 2-time NBA Champion, and 2-time NBA Finals MVP paid a visit on July 26, 2022.

Our architects from Urban Architectural Initiatives collaborated with the younger members of BroSis to create the court’s design. Durant was shown around our new facility by Khary Lazarre-White, executive director of BroSis. Rich Kleiman, co-founder of Thirty Five Ventures and a boyhood friend of Khary’s, accompanied them. The Kevin Durant Charity Foundation’s Director, Jose Mena, was also present. They shot hoops with BroSis’s young members, alumni, and employees after touring our brand new, state-of-the-art 22,000-square-foot facility.
