One of KD’s former Brooklyn Nets teammates is about to make his EuroLeague debut. As Zalgiris Kaunas prepare to take on ALBA in Berlin on Tuesday night, guard Edmond Sumner will be making his EuroLeague debut.

For a EuroLeague game in Kaunas, Sumner gave an optimistic response when asked if he would invite Durant in a same fashion. 

“He might pop up, man,” Sumner told BasketNews’ Jonas Leksas. Kudos to KD. As a person and as a teammate, he was exceptional. I hope he arrives. Every time he finishes his career in the NBA, he mentions wanting to play in our league.

I say we wait and watch to see whether that materializes. I find it hard to believe, though, because he seems to care just about one thing: playing ball.
