Kristaps Porzingis, a star player for the Boston Celtics, just rented out a $8,000-per-month apartment at Sky, a luxurious building in Midtown West. The 7-foot-3-inch Latvian player has access to an NBA regulation-sized basketball court designed by Carmelo Anthony at 605 West 42nd Street.

The glassy slab tower is part of a 70,000-square-foot recreation center that also includes gyms, three pools, a café, yoga and cycling studios, a billiards lounge, and a spa. According to the Post, “Godzingis” additionally leased two additional high-floor apartments to his siblings, Martins and Janis.

Italian-crafted kitchens, floor-to-ceiling windows, custom-built wood closets, oak floors, high-end equipment and finishes, and custom window coverings are features of the penthouse flats known as Vue.

Apart from the fitness-themed facilities described above, Sky also features a motor court featuring a sculpture created by Yayoi Kusama, a retail platform, a pet spa, a rooftop terrace, and a fully landscaped courtyard.
