Because of all the hype before the move, Arda Guler’s time at Real Madrid has not started off the way he had hoped.
Real Madrid beat out other teams to sign him from Fenerbahce in the summer for 20 million euros. There was a lot of excitement around the team because the winger was expected to fit in well, though he would be rotated.
Since making the move, the 18-year-old has been hurt all the time, which is unfortunate.
Reports say that Real Madrid is worried about Guler because he has hurt himself three times since moving to the club. They want to take it easy with him to make sure he gets better as soon as possible after this injury to his quads.
As of now, the Turk has not played in a game for the club. In November, Real Madrid fired their medical director because of all the injuries they’ve had since the start of the season.
There is no loan deal for Guler
But in a recent YouTube video, Fabrizio Romano says that Madrid still has full faith and patience in the young player.
There has been a lot of talk lately that the Galacticos might loan Guler to a Turkish club, but they have no plans to do so. This is despite Guler’s string of illnesses, the most recent of which he is expected to return from after Christmas.
Román says that Madrid is still set on not making too many changes to the team. They want to keep their lineup stable, which includes Arda Guler.
They want to give the player all of their support and safety as he works to get fit again and play his first game for Real Madrid either by the end of this month or in 2024.
