Dashon White plays for the Boston Celtics in the NBA. They’ve been together since college in Colorado when they were both students. Now they’re married. Their wedding took place in Denver in August 2021.

They met for the first time while they were both students at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. The former star player for the San Antonio Spurs asked her to marry him in 2020, during the pandemic. She said yes.

White and Schneider got married in front of family and friends after being together for about a year. White was playing for the Spurs at the time, and Keldon Johnson, Lonnie Walker IV, Drew Eubanks, and Jakob Poeltl were all able to make it to the wedding.

Hannah Schneider’s LinkedIn page says that she is from Boulder, Colorado. Parker, Colorado, was her hometown for high school. She used to work at Northwest Animal Hospital in Colorado Springs as a receptionist.

Derrick White was born in Parker and went to Legend High School, which is interesting. Before moving to Colorado for his senior year, he played for UCCS for the first three years of his college experience.

The San Antonio Spurs picked White with the 29th pick in the 2017 draft. He played for the Spurs for the first four and a half years of his career before being moved to the Boston Celtics for last season. The Celtics made it to the NBA Finals with his help, but the Golden State Warriors beat them in six games.

Hannah Schneider and Derrick White had their first child together in May of last year, while the NBA playoffs were going on. It was Hendrix James White whom they named their son. The second game between the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference playoffs did not happen because his father was not there.

White talked about what it was like to be a first-time dad in an interview with MassLive. He hasn’t slept well since his son was born, but he loves watching him all the time.
