The little fan’s disappointment was understandable given that he and his family had traveled more than 7,000 kilometers solely to witness the superstar play.
But things turned around for the better that night when Butler, upon learning of the circumstances, went to see the youngster and his family. In addition to taking the youngster courtside, the Heat player showed him around the stadium and even gave him a jersey and a ball.
Wish granted for young boy
The young man’s desire came true when Butler scored 29 points in a 98-95 victory over Boston Celtics, and Felipe got to watch the game as well.
