Three times in a row, Jude Bellingham won Real Madrid’s Player of the Month award. Now, the run is over.
The club’s Player of the Month for November is Rodrygo Goes, who has had a great run over the last few weeks.
The Brazilian player got off to a slow start to the season, which made people question his place on the team.
But the former star player for Santos FC has stepped up big time in the last few weeks, putting in a string of important games that have helped Real Madrid reclaim the top spot in La Liga and secure first place in their UEFA Champions League group.
Rodrygo is pleased with his recent form.
Rodrygo talked to the club’s reporters after getting the Player of the Month award and told them how happy he was in these words:
“To begin with, I want to thank the fans. This month has indeed been very important and fun for me. It all went well, and I hope other months are like this one.
According to the 22-year-old, he was feeling good and getting better every day. He also talked about his recent run of form.
“I’m fine, and each day I get better. That looks like it’s on the pitch. As of now, I feel more at ease, and I can show my best self in every game. “I’m very happy, and I just want things to keep going this way,” the Brazilian said.
Rodrygo is in great shape
In November, Real Madrid played five games across all categories. Rodrygo was the team’s star player during that stretch.
In those five games, the 22-year-old scored up to six goals and set up four more for his teammates. That was the first time Rodrygo had scored in any kind of game.
That’s another goal for the Brazilian forward against Granada over the weekend. He now has nine goals and five assists in 20 games this season.
