The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Philadelphia Pacers 123–129 in Las Vegas on Saturday night in the first-ever event held during the regular season.
The exciting game was watched by Timothée Chalamet, who is 27 years old.
His outfit was a black leather suit and a black sweater over a white T-shirt.
His trademark wavy hair was neatly tucked behind a black ball cap, making him look totally focused on the game.
The actor, who is best known for his part in Call Me By Your Name, is currently getting great reviews for his role in Wonka, the prequel to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. His sports event happens at the same time. Right now, Chalamet is the lead in the 1964 origin movie Wonka, which is based on Roald Dahl’s book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
In earlier movies, both Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp played chocolatiers who were a little bad.
In the movie Wonka, Willy Wonka starts his chocolate shop in London. The movie shows him when he is younger, less cynical, and more hopeful. But he is in danger from a powerful gang that controls the candy market.
Willy Wonka is a “extraordinary creation,” says director Paul King, who has loved the figure since he was a child. People are crazy about this mystery chocolatier, inventor, and magician who can make magic happen and grant wishes.
.
He said, “So I thought about what might happen if you center the story around Willy Wonka and look into his past before he became the character in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”
The lead actor said that getting the part was “a dream come true” because he saw Billy Wilder’s 1971 version of Dune as a child.
“One of the most important things about the character was his never-ending drive and ambition,” Chalamet told USA Today about what he thought after reading the script.
It was the exact opposite of that famously crazy Willy Wonka. He went on to say that he wanted to know how the main character would have started his journey if he wasn’t so hurt and childish now.
King said, “I want to answer the question of how he became what he accomplished.” He also said that the film would look into the reasons behind his amazing career as a chocolate maker. Timothée is the right leading man for our cast because he is annoyingly young, successful, charming, and kind. He has a special talent and can also dance and sing well.
Wonka opened in theaters on December 8, and early reports say that people are thrilled.
“I may be the first person to say this, but people were crying in the theater, and Timothée’s singing of “pure fantasy” was the perfect way to end the really sad scene,” joked a fan.
Hugh Grant, Olivia Colman, Keegan-Michael Key, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, and Matt Lucas are all in Wonka for the first time, as is Calah Lane.
