Nikola Jokic and his strange passion: a herd of horses is necessary, but a house only needs one

Because of Nikola Jokic, it appeared as though everyone in drag racing was cheering on the Denver Nuggets to win their first NBA title on June 12th.

Jokic, who is regarded as the best basketball player in the world by almost everyone, led his Nuggеts to a 94-89 victory over the Miami Heat, giving Denver a four-game lead in the best-of-seven NBA Finals.

Jokic may now be able to devote a little more time to his other passion, horse racing.

Driver/trainer Tim Trick told Steffi Bondy of the New York Daily News, “He told me, ‘My job is basketball, but my passion is horse racing.'” “I would trade jobs with you in a heartbeat if the pay was better,” joked Jokic.

“Just a regular, everyday dude. Low-key,” remarked Trick. You would not be aware that he receives $40 million year to play basketball. He arrives at the stables in sweats. He then dons his training outfit and dives in, clearly enjoying himself immensely.

In December 2021, Jokic paid a visit to The Big M and observed the activities taking place in the rear paddock. “The Joker” spent some time at Brett Plling’s farm in March of this year while he was in the city to play the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks.

“He stopped by the barn earlier this spring,” PELLING remarked. He arrived about six in the morning. She is well-versed in horses. He is much older than the rest and would rather chat about horses than basketball. He truly enjoys learning. How do you exercise? What is your feeding technique? Excellent questions. He possesses a genuine understanding. He was definitely taking in knowledge.
