On vacation after shining in Palmeiras’ Brazilian championship victory, 17-year-old young forward Endrick was at the traditional TD Garden, the training room of the Boston Celtics, to watch an NBA match against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Before the game, Endrick was on the court and exchanged jerseys with winger Jayson Tatum, star of the Boston Celtics and one of the biggest names in the league today.
The meeting was recorded by Palmeiras and Boston Celtics. Endrick gave Tatum the Brazilian team jersey and received the North American team’s uniform as a gift. Both have their signature.
Endrick spent the holiday in the United States with his father, Douglas, and mother, Cíntia.
