The Lakers Thanksgiving Feast, hosted by East West Bank, continues the spirit of giving this holiday season!

This year, the Lakers held a feast at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier for more than 150 guests from neighborhood partners. Under the stars, a full Thanksgiving dinner catered by Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ was enjoyed by families, children, and chaperones from the LAFD Frank Hotchkin Memorial Center, Mixed Roots, Heart of Los Angeles, Watts Skills Academy, and the Boys & Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley.

When Lakers star Max Christie and Lakers legends Derek Fisher and Robert Horry arrived to serve the food, the local guests were ecstatic. Following the delectable dinner, everyone was free to ride Pacific Park’s rides indefinitely and participate in some thrilling activities. Basketballs signed by these notable people were raffled off during the evening, surprise and delighting a number of children and chaperones!

The Season of Giving, hosted by East West Bank, is a series of holiday-themed activities meant to cheer up underprivileged populations in the area. Next month, there will be a holiday party for kids to prolong the season.
